It is always difficult to faithfully describe pure emotions. And since it is important to pay tribute to the exceptional quality of the experience I just had thanks to Soltur, I will make the effort. I knew what I wanted to see throughout the four days of visits and hikes. I wanted to rise above, to feel the vastness of the Ribeiras of Santo Antão, dive into the daily life of its inhabitants, share a meal with them, and spend a few nights in their mountain corner.
